GigaTribe may slow down when the file download speed exceeds the write speed of the destination hard drive. This issue may occur if the receiving folder is located on an external hard drive with limited write speed, or in cases of network latency when the receiving folder is accessed over the network.
Visual Indicator
A yellow warning icon appears at the bottom of the screen to indicate that the write queue is filling up.
Consequences
The program uses more memory until the downloading files can be fully written to the destination drive.
