The GigaTribe mobile app is now available for testing on Android. While this version does not yet include all the features of the desktop version, it allows you to connect to your network of friends, search files, and download them to your mobile device. You can now enjoy the content available in your network directly on your phone!
Since the GigaTribe app is still in testing, it hasn’t been added to the Play Store. However, you can install it on your Android phone by downloading the following file directly:
- Download Link: GigaTribe-3.99.006-beta.apk
- App Version: 3.99.006
- Update Date: November 15, 2024
Steps to Install the App
- Open your phone’s browser and click on the download link above.
- Navigate to the Downloads folder (using an app like “My Files”, for example).
- Tap the downloaded .apk file to install the GigaTribe Beta App.
Logging In to the App
Currently, the same GigaTribe account cannot be logged in simultaneously on a computer and a mobile device. Therefore, we recommend creating a new account and naming it by adding “.mob” to your current username. For example, if your account is named “Bluemoon,” create a new account called “Bluemoon.mob.”
If your primary account has an Ultimate (or Premium) subscription, you can request the customer service team to upgrade your “.mob” account to Ultimate for free during the testing period.
Note: The mobile version does not yet allow you to invite contacts. You will need to connect your “.mob” account via the GigaTribe desktop software to send invitations to your main account and your contacts.
